The focaccia di Recco with cheese has finally obtained the IGP mark, Protected Geographical Indication, the first European certification obtained for a baked product. The mark certifies that this product is prepared only in Recco and a few other neighboring municipalities with certain raw materials and processing procedures. A truly prestigious achievement that our beloved great-grandmother Manuelina would be proud of!
